Development test — Alien Titan.

Creature design sheet for Alien Titan by Raymond Karsten — five turnaround views of a 120-metre six-tentacled alien, annotated with classification, anatomy, weaknesses and a human scale reference — Designed before it was generated: silhouette, anatomy, scale. Once these decisions exist, every shot stays consistent.

Alien Titan started as a single image I couldn't shake: two soldiers on a rooftop, watching something too large to fight. I painted the concept long before AI could have generated it — that's the piece on this page.

Now it's in development as a short film. What you see here are tests: scale, atmosphere, how the creature reads against a real city. Working out on screen what I already knew on paper.
